On Wednesday 2nd March, 21 students from the Intermediate Department competed in the Town and Country Schools Triathlon held at Frimley Park in Hastings

The event consisted of a 2km run, 4km cycle and 200m swim. We had 11 students competing in the individual race and four teams.

The girls participated with enthusiasm and wonderful energy especially when supporting fellow competitors to the finish line.

Congratulations to all competitors and thank you to Puketapu School for organizing the event.

A very big thank you to Justine Owen and Toby Davis for transporting the bikes. Thanks also to Mrs Rathbone, our Director of Sport, for the great advice and encouragement. It was wonderful to see boarding staff (Ms Knauf!), parents and family members there supporting all those who were competing.
