The Blyth Performing Arts Centre, at Iona College, honours the legacy of Iona Old Girl Margaret Blyth and is named in memory of her parents: Lieutenant–Colonel Lawrence (Curly) and Ethel May Blyth. The Blyth Performing Arts Centre is a state-of-the-art space for the performing arts; recognised for its contemporary architectural expression and exceptional acoustic qualities. The distinctive and sculptural Blyth Performing Arts Centre opens with a dramatic double height foyer that leads into an auditorium with seating capacity for 396, a raised stage and a chamber with outstanding concert acoustics.
